Loyalty Program, App + Website Design

A whole lot to stack up to.

IHOP challenged my team with a fast-track launch of a new loyalty program along side a complete website overhaul. As their lead strategic creative partners, my role as the Creative Director had a tall stack of asks to deliver. Not only did we defined loyalty CX across web, app and in-restaurant, we dug deep and reimagined the entire ordering experience, account management and loyalty integration in order to exceed industry experiences.

When to bank with an idea

IHOP came to us with a seedling of an idea to create a "Bank of Pancakes" as their new loyalty program. Embracing the brand's fun personality and theme, we ran with it. Fully created a financial stock exchange experience for loyalty members looking to bank and redeem delicious rewards.

Gave 'em what they want

When it comes to the IHOP experience, customization is what people loved in restaurant. With hundreds of ways to serve up what our diners liked, we UX the hell out of all the possibilities with UI as intuitive as ordering up in-person. 

Outcome:

1. Reduce order frustration with successful 
implementation of extensive customizations— matching restaurant experience.

2. Expedited repeat ordering for seamless transactions.

3. Gave every IHOP diner a reason to return with a memorable yet functional loyalty program.

Strategically leveraged the iconic IHOP branding while optimizing brand to world-class web safe standards and specifications with ADD compliance in-mind.
