USPS Collab with Star Wars
For the 30th anniversary celebration of Star Wars, I had the privilege of working on a super fun and nationally viral project with USPS. As part of the digital experience, I created an interactive game that took users through the Star Wars movie journey, all while showcasing USPS's mailing offerings in a way that was both educational and geeky. Fans could engage with the experience while indulging in their Star Wars passion.
The project’s teaser—500 mailboxes wrapped into R2D2 and spread across the U.S.—was a major hit. I oversaw every meticulous detail of their development, making sure each mailbox stood out as a visual tribute to the iconic droid. The result was an explosion of viral coverage, from SNL skits and newspaper features to behind-the-scenes photoshoots with George Lucas's studio team. And let’s not forget the wave of fan photography that flooded social media. I’m proud to say that even the Smithsonian now proudly displays one of these iconic mailboxes in their museum.
Fun fact: To ensure every detail was on point, I binge-watched all the Star Wars movies in one weekend! This project was a truly magical experience, blending Star Wars fandom with USPS innovation, and the response was nothing short of legendary.
